9/4/03 - "President and CEO of Hawaii TechKnow Center was awarded with the PBN's FORTY Under 40 Award"

Lisa Ching, President and CEO of Hawaii TechKnow Center has been recognized by Pacific Business News as one of their FORTY Under 40 Award Winners. This award is an annual honor that is bestowed upon a select group of young professionals for their achievements, leadership and commitment to the community and earning this award is richly deserved. We congratulate her on her most recent recognition.

9/2/03 - "S.E.E.K Was a huge Success"

On behalf of Hawaii TechKnow Center and S.E.E.K we would like to thank all of the people who have donated their computer. Because of your efforts we were able to fix and give out 60 computers to 4 high schools on the windward side of the island. Due to the overwhelming response from the community we have decided to make this event a semiannual project. Please keep checking back to find out more details on when the next computer drive will be held. Mahalo for all your support!!

6/17/03 - "S.E.E.K. Supplying Equipment 2 Educate Kids"

Lisa Ching, President and CEO of Hawaii TechKnow Center will be hosting a computer donation drive called SEEK: Supplying Equipment 2 Educate Kids to benefit the public schools of Hawaii on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the Hawaii TechKnow Center. The goal of the SEEK project is to collect as many recyclable computers as possible from local companies and the public. After any needed repairs, upgrades, or refurbishment, these computers will then be donated to the public schools in the State of Hawaii. As an added incentive for potential donors, Hawaii TechKnow Center will be giving out a $20 gift certificate to each generous donor that provides equipment for SEEK during the drive. Donations will be accepted between the hours of 10:00AM to 5:00PM at Hawaii TechKnow Center, 1430 Kona Street, Suite 205. Apart from the SEEK donation drive for computers, Lisa Ching is also working with the Hawaii Department of Education in developing an A+ certification internship program for high school students to develop hands-on experience in computer repairs. The Department of Education has asked that the following specs must be met in order for the computers to be accepted: Equipment must be complete sets and fully functional Processor: Pentium or higher (Preferrably Pentium II or higher) RAM: 32MB or higher (Preferrably 64MB or higher) Hard Drive: 5GB or higher (Preferrably 10GB or higher) CDROM Drive (Preferrably 24x or higher) NIC: 10MB (Preferrably 10/100MB) Keyboard Mouse Monitor: 15 inch SVGA (Preferrably 17 inch)

5/9/03 - "T-Mobile and NEXTEL Dealers"

Hawaii TechKnow Center has become authorized T-Moble and NEXTEL Dealers. Come in and pick from one of our many FREE phones or get the hottest phones with all the bells and whistles out on the market today. We will soon be stocking up on tons of accessories from antennas to Flashing everytings…
